In the framework of cooperation between Al-Jamil Municipality and the Faculty of Public Health in Al-Jamil, and establishing the principle of community partnership, and in continuation of the agreements made during the visit of the committee assigned by the mayor on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the Mayor of Al-Jamil, Mr. Fathi Ali Al-Hamrouni, conducted a working visit to the Faculty of Public Health in Al-Jamil on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, accompanied by the committee members: Engineer Abdulmonem Al-Tahir Al-Amin, Director of the Planning, Monitoring, and Performance Evaluation Office at the municipality; Engineer Muhannad Mohamed Al-Haddad, Director of the Projects Management at the municipality; Engineer Hammouda Al-Majdi, Director of the Environmental Sanitation Management at the municipality; and Mr. Fadi Amtair Tarom, Director of the Mayor’s Office. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Al-Ayadi Dhu Al-Abed.
During the visit, Mr. Fathi Al-Hamrouni praised the significant role of the Faculty of Public Health in addressing many health and environmental issues within the municipality and emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and joint work between the municipality and the faculty to enhance the level of health and environmental services. Additionally, the Dean of the Faculty appreciated the visit of the Mayor and the committee members, highlighting their crucial role in overcoming some of the challenges faced by the Faculty of Public Health in executing its academic role with high professionalism to achieve high-quality educational outcomes in the field of public health.
At the end of the meeting, the Mayor, Mr. Fathi Al-Hamrouni, affirmed the commitment to overcoming all difficulties and supporting the faculty with all resources to ensure outcomes that contribute to serving the community and environment according to the scientific specializations of the faculty. He also emphasized the importance of signing joint agreements and conducting a series of workshops and training sessions in the field of public health in collaboration with the faculty's professors to enhance the services within Al-Jamil Municipality.
